The addition of “days”, “hours”, “minutes”, “seconds” text below the numbers would make a great plugin more outstanding. A toggle to on/off the text might added for dashboard/settings.
FYI: when I attempted to sign-up for your mailing, that attempt crashed Dragon browser (Chrome derivative).
I’ll be back about those xml headers…

Your ideas are already under construction. We hope to have it online later today.
We are glad you liked the plugin.

Hello, I can’t seem to figure out where the “Date of countdown – here you can set exact date of your event (year, month, day, hours and minutes). Countdown will then start counting down accordingly” is located, checked under – Settings > Flash Clock, and also the widget itself. any help would be great.
Thanks.

Thanks for the note, will fix that.

Hi,
I have updated your WP countdown widget to 1.04 and now I can’t resize it. Changing the width in settings just changes visible area, but the countdown clock is stil in its default size. I’m happy I still have the old 1.03 package on my drive.
And how about adding posibility to change the text under the timer?
Best,
JeeNPe

I can’t figure out why ‘second’ is misspelled as ‘secund’ in the plugin. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling the plugin, and I have it spelled properly in the Settings menu.

Are you using the php code that is in this post? I don’t really know e store, but I guess you would have to put the php shortcode somewhere in the header. Can you provide the link of e store template?

September 26, 2011 at 4:15 pm
Hi is it possible insert this count down in a page?
September 26, 2011 at 4:41 pm
Hi,
Yes you can add it to a page via shortcode (just like to the post):
[ CountDown id=1 width=250 custom_widget=1 containerx=0 containerxy=0 imagebackground=true reflection=true year=2011 month=7 day=25 hours=5 minute=10 textunder=false]
Remove the space at the start between first bracket and CountDown when actually using it.

thanks for all the work you have done on this plug-in and keeping this blog updated.
i hope you can help with a few things:
do i need to purchase the flash file to edit the text that is displayed under the counter?
when i view the test page i have created http://hotelympia10k.com/test/
it shows “secund”? also to change DAY to DAYS, HOUR to HOURS, etc
(the link provided by david also shows “secund” in my web browsers, ie, ff, chrome)
I have also tried to use the following code in the header.php of the theme.
remove space between < and ?
without success as I get a "NUN" displayed in the flash images.
please let me know if i can send you some screenshots.
thanks

January 23, 2012 at 9:53 pm
the plugin location defined by x and y axis works as intended on the home page but each subsequent page the location is wrong. Can you look at the website and suggest a fix?
Additionally, the countdown is off by 2 hours. I assume this must have something to do with a time zone but I’ve checked my settings and they are correct (Eastern Standard Time). Is there a work around to add additional hours?
January 24, 2012 at 6:55 am
Hi,
What is your website (email me at info(@).premiumcoding.com). As for the hours, can’t you just add or substract two hours and the time will be ok? Not sure why it happens but I think you can make a workaround like that.

Ales

Hi,
1.) Go to calendar settings and translate the labels (like Value for Days text)
2.) Not without editing the Flash File itself.

I really want to thank you for this awesome plugin! But i have a problem, when i try to insert the shortcode on a page i can’t change the values from true to false, when i do it keeps displaying the same, like ‘with text and reflection’ even when i change reflection to false. How can i solve this problem, cause i really want a counter without reflection and without background. As theme i use the free typebased theme from woothemes.
February 23, 2012 at 5:58 pm
The problem i mentioned before I have solved but now i have a new problem, above the timer there is a lot of blankspace that i can’t remove. How can i remove the blank space.
February 23, 2012 at 10:41 pm
Hi,
Where does the blank space appear?

This is a beautiful plugin – thanks so very much!
One thing it does need is a page where we can keep track of/edit/delete the various instances we have of the countdown. Some of us end up not remembering how many installs we have, and so don’t know what the next id # should be..
Thanks!
March 1, 2012 at 10:26 am
Hi,
Yeah a good idea, we will probably add that in the future update. As for the forum, there was a security problem with the forum plugin so we have to take it down for security reasons.

Also, your forum seems to be missing – link goes to an oops page.

Hi there
Great plugin. Really enjoy using it.
In the PHP code can you tell me how to have the “containerx=0 containerxy=0 imagebackground=false reflection=false textunder=true color=dark” within the parameters of
“wp_CountDown_php(0,2012,8,18,00,00)” where wp_CountDown_php(id,year,month,day,hours,minute) is the arrangement
Many thanks
Danny

Love this plugin! Awesome… Wondering if there is any way to change the text color and size of the “Title of Countdown?” I want to add the countdown to the header widget with a dark background and the Title is not very visible…
June 27, 2012 at 5:18 am
Hi,
Hm the countdown Title in our live previews isn’t part of the plugin itself but part of the WordPress site so you can set that to anything you like.

This plugin is great, thanks. I’ve got it working perfectly on the front page (www.guaranteedfitness.co.uk) but on another (http://www.guaranteedfitness.co.uk/freeweek/) it is across to one side an I can’t figure out how to move it’s position.
The shortcode I have added is [CountDown id=1 width=250 custom_widget=0 year=2012 month=7 day=22 hours=23 minute=59] and I’ve tried playing with custom shortcode, but with no luck.
Any ideas please?

July 29, 2012 at 8:14 pm
Is there a way to put text under the Countown itself. It seems as though it has a lot of space under counter on my page. Would like to add a title or eliminate the space the countdown leaves after. Or can I change that with css?
