We recently made a Flash animation ad banner for a foreign online children store called Little Devils (in translation). Ad was featured on the biggest portal for child care in Slovenia.
Animation was done with actionscript 3 and uses no timeline animation at all (everything is coded). I have used beautifully designed little devil vector that was layered perfectly which means that all parts of it can be animated (eyes, hands,etc.).

When designing this sort of Flash animation you have to keep in mind that the most important part is how vectors (little devil in our case) are layered and designed. Each part should be on it’s own layer so when you import AI (Adobe Illustrator) vector object into Flash you can animate each part on it’s own (looking down, moving hands,etc.).
