The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet – this is probably the single most asked question related to WordPress. It doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with the theme, you just need to uninstall the first package. Inside you will find the Theme, documentation, necessary plugins, child theme, and demo content. So make sure that the file you are uploading is named simply sigurd.zip which is the main theme.

Ok - My first review was an expression of frustration. The site is now up - but as a rookie I still have a long way to go. ONE THING DOES SEEM TO BE OFF-KILTER: There is no button or evidence that the "Essential Grid" is part of the package. Where is the Essential Grid that they talk about for five pages in the documentation? Still hoping for the best... I have tried to contact Sigurd a few ways to ask about the Essential Grid - but have not heard back. I love how clean this theme is - and want it to work - so we'll keep trying. BTW-I see that Essential Grid is a component (plugin?) put out by the same company as the Revolution Slider that comes with the theme. If anyone reads this review near Pittsburgh, PA and is willing to help me a little bit, I am in the phone book in Beaver...
