WordPress has been the most popular CMS for quite a while now and the number of WordPress themes that are released is rising each year. It is not easy to find the best possible WordPress Theme for your needs. I am constantly in search for the best WordPress Themes out there and that is why I started writing a column WordPress Theme of the Week, in which I write short reviews. Below is a roundup of all the Themes I reviewed in 2011.

RT business teme has an amazing design of the website layout. It is creative and fresh with great visual hierarchy. The first thing a visitor notices is a clear sidebar menu on the left and a slideshow with portfolio beneath on the right. All the crucial informations are instantly visible which is great and will allow your visitors to grasp the idea behind your site instantly.
Ammon Theme for WordPress
Ammon is a creative and stylish theme with a unique design approach and a lot of cool features. It is an all around theme and is appropriate for many uses like corporate, personal or blogging.
PixelPower – Responsive HTML5 / CSS3 WordPress Theme

Purity – A clean and minimalistic WordPress theme
Theme starts with a light grey menu with a subtle red hover effect. I just love the color combination. It is clean and really friendly to the eyes. It comes in dark and light skin, ten different backgrounds to choose from and ten different color schemes. I think the default setting of the Theme is actually the best (light skin, white background with the default color scheme) but it is nice to have other options to meet various customers demand.

Sideshow is a funky theme with a built-in Tumblr style blogging system. It is simple and does exactly what a portfolio should do, showcase your products with little distraction. If you love clean and simple then this is the theme for you. With two color variations (dark and light) theme is suitable for most.
Black Label – Fullscreen Video & Image Background
Black Label features a video that plays in the background in the full screen mode. It is certainly a novelty in web design and there are already several templates available that follows the trend. There are several options of how home page can look. If you do not want a vide background you can simply switch to a more common slideshow that rolls full screen images in the background.

Theme has recently seen a major upgrade so it is up to date with all the latest features. Almost unlimited amount of skins is what inFocuse excells at. You can choose between several hundreds different skins so you can make this theme into a unique site for your business.
Crea Wordpress Theme
Crea is a creative WordPress template that is specificly designed for presentation of creative portfolios and photography. We can see some stunning transitions between pages that are made with HTML 5.
Suerte WordPress Theme
Suerte is a creative WordPress template that is specificly designed for presentation of creative portfolios and photography. We can see a fresh approach in designing with some irregular shapes that fit perfectly in overall design of the page.
U-Design WordPress Theme
Udesign was the best selling WordPress Theme in 2011 on Themeforest. Everything in this theme is top notch. It starts with a clean well made logo and amazingly clean upper menu. Font used is just perfect. Animation for submenus is very clean and subtle and it makes navigation smooth.
Garnish WordPress Theme
It’s clean cut and minimalistic design is what makes this theme stand out from the others. If you want to present your portfolio in a creative way then this is a theme for you. Front page is dedicated to presenting your popular items.
NOTORIOUS WORDPRESS THEME
My first selection was the amazing Notorious Creative Portfolio Template made by designer that has been fascinating us ever since we first saw one of his Slideshows on Activeden.
