TUESDAY FONTS: HUDSON NY, Malarkey and Gin
Tuesday is here and so is our category: Tuesday Fonts. This time we present to you Hudson NY, Malarkey and Gin.
Hudson NY
Hudson NY is a display font that gives you strong and bold typography with three different styles that make up the family, a regular, serif and slab serif. Hudson NY is an adaptation and progression of Roper Font, and like Roper font it comes in regular and a press versions, giving the user some cool options when creating artwork. The golden thread that ties this family together is its American sports and college styling, it gives Hudson NY an authentic look but at the same time there is a modern approach to the character set.
Malarkey
Meet Malarkey, a hand painted font with bounce and quirk. Malarkey was inspired by hand brushed, modern calligraphy and features messy, organic letter forms. Swash lovers, eat your heart out. Long, looped, swirl, and short swash fonts are included to give your projects a convincing, hand brushed calligraphy look.
Gin
Like a brother to the Bourbon family (http://crtv.mk/qDwg), Gin is distilled from similar letterforms, but condensed less. This vintage display typeface was inspired by the likes of old serifs and classic bottles of whiskey and gin. The full family includes Gin’s 8 styles: Regular, Oblique, Lines, Lines Oblique, Rough, Rough Oblique, Round, and Round Oblique (All .OTF files). Features: Stylistic Alternates and Multiple Language Support.
Hope you enjoyed our pick for Tuesday fonts.
